The Rock n' Roll Romper Room Roster -- Aqua Mann to Zoth Ommog

The Rock N' Roll Romper Room
Archive From 1994

The Rock N' Roll Romper Room was the first music magazine made for the world wide web. Back in the early days, a subscription was required... so, many of these links will not work unless you pay. Sorry.

Who Will Rock and Roll-Over First?

The idea is not to romp on each other. No, quite the contrary. The Romper Room is a place for high-spirited interaction. Once you are invited in, you may stay as long as you like.

This is a rare opportunity to view a microcosm of how the "musicbusiness" ought to operate. Guests in the romper room include: record company executives, management companies, band members, media types, and maybe even you.

The action gets started with:

BACK IN (what's left of) THE USSR:

Actual letters between a Russian and an American. The Russians responded to an Internet post announcing the birth of Glistening Trail Records, a new independent record label. Follow along as it happens. Can the Russians swap vodka for a tapedeck? Peek in.

Following is a list of the players, their romper room insignia, and their hobbies. The insignia will always appear before that person speaks. If you forget who they are, just come here.

The insignia has two parts. The top half is unique to the individual. The bottom half represents their hobby. Clicking on the insignia, here in the roster, will take you to their conversation. Clicking on the insignia in the Romper Room will reveal a somewhat relevant surprise.

The Renegade publishes both industry and local-edition music news-letters. His most recent issue features a free cd drawing for Dink. If you would like to enter, just click here.
